The chapter contributors are well-established scholars as well as experienced teacher-practitioners in Korean language education in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The topics considered include Hallyu, study abroad, heritage language instruction, and diversity and inclusion.

Contributors
Sang Yee Cheon earned her Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa (UHM), and is an Associate Professor of Korean in the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at UHM.
Robert J. Fouser, a former Associate Professor of Korean as a Second Language (KSL) Education at Seoul National University, is currently an independent scholar based in Providence, Rhode Island.
Min Jung Jee, Ph.D. (Foreign Language Education, The University of Texas at Austin), is a Senior Lecturer in Korean at the University of Queensland, Australia.
Mihyon Jeon is an Associate Professor of Korean Language and Culture at York University, Canada.
Eunae Kim is a doctoral student in the Department of Teaching and Learning at the University of Miami.
Hi-Sun Kim is a Senior Preceptor and Director of the Korean Language Program in the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University.
Sun-Hee Lee holds a Ph.D. in Korean Language and Literature from Yonsei University and a Ph.D. in Linguistics from The Ohio State University.
Daniel Marsh holds a Ph.D. in Sociolinguistics from UNSW Sydney and has affiliate status with Korean Studies at Monash University.
Kyuwon Moon earned her Ph.D. in Linguistics from Stanford University and is currently a lecturer of Korean language at Brown University.
Mi Yung Park, Ph.D. (Korean Linguistics, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa), is Head of Asian Studies and Senior Lecturer in Korean at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
Seong-Chul Shin earned his Ph.D. in Linguistics from UNSW in Sydney and teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate Korean language courses at the School of Humanities and Languages, UNSW.
Jayoung Song is an Assistant Professor of Korean and Applied Linguistics in the Department of Asian Studies at Pennsylvania State University.
Hye-Sook Wang is an Associate Professor of East Asian Studies at Brown University.
Bethany Waugh (Master of Indigenous Studies, University of Auckland) is a guest lecturer and tutor in Social Anthropology at the University of Otago, New Zealand.
Sang-Seok Yoon is an Assistant Professor of Korean Linguistics at the University of Iowa.
